Tennis Court Hire

Do I need to be a member to use the facilities?
No membership required. Non-members can book courts up to 7 days in advance and access all facilities including equipment hire.
What sports are available at your holiday camps?
Our camps offer tennis, football, dodgeball, tug-of-war, basketball, and athletics with qualified LTA/FA coaches ensuring varied, age-appropriate activities.
Can I hire equipment without booking a court?
Equipment hire is included with court bookings. We provide rackets, balls, and footwear at no additional cost when reserving a court.
What qualifications do your coaches hold?
All coaches are LTA or FA qualified with enhanced DBS checks. We maintain a minimum 1:8 coach-to-child ratio with paediatric first aiders on site.
Are your courts available during bad weather?
Yes, we guarantee indoor access via Sandylands Sports Hall. Refunds are automatically issued if weather prevents outdoor play.
How do I book a tennis court?
Book through our website, the Playtomic app, or by phone. Members can reserve courts 21 days ahead, non-members 7 days in advance with instant confirmation.

I have supported Adam in many tennis sessions in primary schools in the past. Adam encourages all the children with a wide variety of ball and racket skills no matter what level the children are starting at they learn so much and the improvements are evident at each session. Adam connects so well with the children and sets achievable targets with the games they play. Some children have started tennis lessons with Adam and have achieved such high levels in the sport. I would advise anyone thinking about tennis as a sport to visit the centre and see for yourself just how good the club is.

My sons had a truly amazing experience participating in tennis camp on various days throughout the summer holiday, they couldn't wait to go back each time! The environment felt safe, the tennis camp was extremely well organised and, above all else, it was hugely fun. Thank you to Adam, Ella and the team at Skipton Tennis Centre for everything.

A very friendly and professional place. I was worried about how tennis would affect my 'knackered' knees, but I'm finding it great...!!! This will be my new sport..!!
