The nursery is bright and cheerful and the staff are dedicated to ensuring that each child settles well so they can enjoy their time with us.

Our Nursery
Report
The Blue Sky team is all dedicated childcare professionals who bring a wide range of skills and experience to the nursery. Every staff member loves children and finds fulfilment from playing with them and helping them learn and develop in a loving environment. The Daily operation is overseen by the Nursery Manager, Sarah Ayres, who has a wide range of childcare experience.
Day Nursery
Report
The Blue Sky Day Nursery is open 51 weeks of the year and offers care for children from 6 weeks until they start school. Children have access to a wide variety of toys, games and activities which they have free access to throughout the day. Each child is given the chance to play with really messy activities including painting, junk modelling, play dough, sand and water, because of this it is best to send them in play clothes.
Baby Room

We call our baby room The Pixies and it is set up to look after babies from 6 weeks old. The pixies room has a large carpet area so babies can roll and crawl and practise their walking skills in comfort. We have a dedicated snuggly sleep area where babies can take their naps how ever you want be that in cots, pushchairs, mats or the swing.
Toddler Room

We have great fun with our two year olds in the Imps room. After breakfast we have free time to explore the toys and play with our friends, learning social and behavioural skills through play. Developing areas such as sharing and turn taking, enjoying imaginative play and learning about the world around us.
Pre-School
Report
We call our pre-school children the Elves. From the term after a child turns 3 they are entitled to 15 hours of funded preschool education. We are pleased to be able to offer children this time whilst at Blue Sky either as part of their Day Nursery day or as separate sessions. In the preschool our experienced and loving team help prepare the children, both socially and emotionally for their next step in their journey through to school life.
