Longsands Primary School is a warm, welcoming primary school, situated in Fulwood Preston. I am proud to be the Headteacher of this school - our children are incredible! They love learning and they embrace every opportunity to explore and discover new things. If you asked them what makes our school special, they would say that everyone is friendly, we look after each other and everybody knows everyone else's names.

School Dinners

Our School meals are cooked on site by a highly skilled team. The menu always includes a choice of three hot meals a day, a vegetarian option, jacket potato with tuna or cheese, brown or white bread and an extensive salad and pasta bar. We are pleased to be able to use the ParentPay cashless system for school meal fee collection.

With the full return of the children less than a week away, could I please remind you to check your balances on the ParentPay system. I have managed to keep School Dinner money at the same price for the time being but with increased catering cost and noticeable rise in dinner money debt I am not sure how long I can sustain this.

Please let me know if you would like another SEND get together this term. It would be a morning this time as most of the TAS only work mornings. It would just be a get together with other parents and TAS to share any concerns etc. We have a number of new SEND children in school and it would be good for existing parents to meet new parents.
