Tyrrells Home Furnishings started business in 1902 in Motherwell. In 1934 Jimmy Tyrrell Snr opened a business in Burnbank, Hamilton not far from the present showroom. Jimmy Tyrrell Jnr joined the business in 1957 and together they built a tremendous clientele, across Lanarkshire and central Scotland, based on recommendations and repeat business.
In later years Jimmy's sons James and John joined the business. In 2018 James' son, Chris joined the family business and now we have a tremendous team taking the business from strength to strength.
