Darlington Indoor Bowls Club
Darlington Indoor Bowls Club opened in 1980 on the site of the original North Road Locomotive Works and close to the first passenger railway station in the world. In 2012 the playing surface was replaced after a successful bid for lottery funding from Sport England. The club provides an 8 rink, international sized, flat green bowling facility open to both members and the general public with the capacity to accommodate up to 64 bowlers.

New bowlers of all ages are always welcome and you can have a free, no-obligation, 'taster' session if you've not tried bowls before - just call in or contact the club to arrange a suitable time or watch out for our advertised open days.
