We provide customizable packages based on guest numbers and requirements. Options include venue-only hire and full-service packages with accommodation.

Yes, all bookings include exclusive access to the venue, grounds, and accommodation for your wedding day and evening celebrations.
Are there accommodation options for guests?
Our farmhouse sleeps 14 with additional glamping pods available. Nearby hotels accommodate overflow guests within 15 minutes' drive.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular dates book 12-18 months ahead. We recommend early inquiries for summer weekends, though we accommodate last-minute bookings when possible.
Do you allow outside suppliers?
We provide preferred supplier lists but permit outside vendors. Our team coordinates with chosen suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery.
Is the venue accessible for disabled guests?

Don't know anything about the wedding venue, but went to the fishing lakes, "fishable at houchines " has 2 lakes one with catfish and carp which I didn't fish but went to the carp lake, and very impressed, well managed fishery excellent swims , some good size and clean fish, the manager/ owner very helpful. The only down fall for me ,being disabled and not good with walking, bit of a steep set of stairs to the lake otherwise a very good lake and at a good price .

Lovely quiet venue with lots of different areas. A country drive away, well worth the long journey. Great honeymoon barn and old wobbly house for all your guests. The Roses will be out soon. Definitely on our short list.

Houchins Barn is one of our favourite wedding venues in Essex. The barn is so cool and offers something really unique with bit of an industrial feel. The marquee where the ceremony takes place is nice and light and also has a really long aisle to enjoy the brides entrance. There's also a really nice field out back that offers a great backdrop for golden hour photos.
