Houchins has been designed to offer stylish entertaining for up to 180 guests in a beautifully landscaped wedding garden. We have created a truly unique venue that sympathetically marries concrete, wood and steel in a glorious setting.

The Wedding Ceremony

Process down the aisle to the marquee where your guests will be waiting. Nestled in the beautiful wedding garden and surrounded by family and friends the stage is set for the Wedding Ceremony, your big moment and sealing your vows. At Houchins you choose your ceremony location, they are all situated within our grounds and each are special in their own right.
Drinks Reception

From the ceremony you and your guests can step straight onto the west facing terrace for your drinks reception. With glass double doors opening onto the terrace and wedding garden, the scene is set for the celebrations to begin! Play games in the garden, set up a bouncy castle for your younger guests or just mingle amongst your friends.
Wedding Breakfast

With a 35 foot high ceiling, mezzanine gallery and huge open fireplace this really is the perfect space to celebrate your wedding. With steel lighting rigs and corrugated walls, seating for up to 150, the space is extremely flexible and works equally well for small as well as large numbers of guests.
Evening Party

Having wined and dined in style and been entertained by the speeches, it's now time to let your hair down and dance the night away. Discreetly hidden for the rest of the day you can now reveal the evening entertainment - DJ or band in the Foundry dance barn. With a sprung oak dance floor and discreet lighting it's the perfect night club for your guests to round off the day.

Just a stone's throw from the venue is the beautifully restored and decorated 17th century farmhouse and Honeymoon Lodge. The farmhouse sleeps up to 14 people in style and comfort with fluffy white towels, complimentary toiletries, fresh cotton sheets and a continental style breakfast all included to round off your stay.
