The origins of Reflexology can be traced back to China more than 5000 years ago but the modern form was developed in the 1930s. Reflexology is based on the principle that reflex points on the soles, tops and sides of the feet correspond to areas throughout the body. By working these areas, the corresponding parts of the body can be stimulated or relaxed as needed.

Sue has been a complementary therapist since 2009 before which she had a successful career as a technical author in the software industry. Sue qualified as a Reflexologist at the Natural Health School in Harrogate and obtained the ITEC Level 3 Diploma, which includes ITEC Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology.
