We offer six uniquely designed self-catering cottages across two locations in North Devon, accommodating between 4 to 7 guests each. Our six self-catering cottages sleep 4-7 guests with modern amenities including fully equipped kitchens, en-suite bathrooms, and entertainment systems. Properties feature wood burners, blackout blinds, and family-friendly layouts with dedicated spaces for multi-generational groups and pets. Each cottage provides complimentary WiFi and access to shared facilities.

Maintained at a comfortable 30C, our indoor pool operates year-round with dedicated changing rooms and toilet facilities. The pool area features spacious decking for lounging, family swim sessions, and safety equipment for children. Guests receive complimentary access during their stay.
Farm Animal Experiences
Daily supervised feeding sessions allow guests to interact with ponies, pygmy goats, poultry, and small animals. The farm provides educational opportunities about animal care with scheduled morning workshops and spontaneous encounters with resident animals like home-bred foal Bentley.
Dog Walking Park
Our secure 2-acre dog park features agility equipment and scenic views across Torrington. Pet guests enjoy two complimentary supervised sessions daily with booking options available through onsite management. The facility prioritises safety with brand-new fencing and weather-appropriate surfaces.
Games Room
The games room offers free pool table, table tennis, and children's play areas with construction toys and dollhouses. The space accommodates all ages with dedicated zones for younger children and adults, operating daily during guest stays.

Are all cottages pet-friendly?
Three cottages (Landcross, Beam Weir, Pebble Ridge) accept dogs. Annery Kiln, Half Penny Bridge, and Sunny Bank have restricted pet policies.
What pool facilities are available?
Our indoor pool operates year-round at 30°C with changing rooms, showers, and dedicated family swim times. Complimentary access for all guests.
Can I book animal feeding sessions?
Daily supervised feeding workshops start at 9:00 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. No booking required for general animal viewing.
What baby equipment is provided?
We supply high chairs, bed guards, sterilisers, and cot accessories. Guests should bring their own cot bedding and baby bath requirements.
How do I access the dog park?
Two complimentary supervised sessions daily available through advance booking with Julie. The 2-acre secure park includes agility equipment and scenic views.
Are grocery deliveries possible?

This was our third stay at Hill Farm Cottages and we love the place. Mick and Julie are wonderful hosts, from the warm welcome on arrival, the amazingly fun and witty animal feed each morning and the amount of helpful tips for places to see and places to eat. We stayed at Landcross cottage which was spotless on arrival and had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage had plenty of space for our family of four. Hill Farm is in a beautiful country setting but close to a number of beaches and local attractions. Our girls loved the onsite heated swimming pool and the play barn and there's a great

Such a delightful place to stay whatever your age. Our go-to happy place! The cottages are full of character, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Great facilities with animal feeding in the morning and a super indoor pool and games room . A beautiful location and a good base to explore this very pretty part of Devon. Lovely beaches nearby and a host of other attractions to suit all ages . Mick and Julie very caring hosts. Cant recommend enough.

Brilliant place, fantastic facilities for adults and children. Lovely clean cottages and welcoming hosts. The area is beautiful and there is ample to keep all age groups happy. The beach is not that far and on a good road. All in all a fantastic place.

Our children (7 and 5) loved it. Daily animal feeding was a highlight, and so were the swims in the indoor heated pool. The 5 cottages are arranged around a pretty courtyard, and there is a spacious field for running around, with some jungle gymn equipment too. Our cottage was great, well equipped, and made a great base to explore the region. Mick and Julie the owners made a real difference - from the sensible Covid arrangements to the daily sheep joke. Highly recommended. I'm sure people will be flocking here for years to come.

This place is great for a nice relaxing break in beautiful Devon. There is so much to do and see, such as animal feeding, and the venue boasts a fantastic selection of facilities including games room and heated indoor swimming pool. The owners, Mick and Julie, are great hosts and offer a very warm welcome. Hoping to return again soon.

Nice cottages with a good indoor pool, games room and animal feeding. Perfect if you have kids who like swimming or animals. Every morning they can help feed the chickens, goats, sheep, pigs, ducks, ponies and rabbits.
Thoroughly recommend, especially with the enthusiastic new owners Mick and Julie who organised an Easter Egg hunt for the kids during our stay.

We had a great stay at Hill Farm Cottages in Beam Weir, the photo's don't show just how spacious this property is. The owners Mick and Julie are brilliant and are on hand for any questions from pre-booking right through to the end of your stay.
