MWM is a small family firm owned and operated by craftsman Matthew Paszenda and his wife Sylwia, with other specialist tradesmen employed when we need them. We came to Scotland from Poland over eleven years ago. Settling in Glasgow, we immediately fell in love with the beautiful stonebuilt houses and tenements of the city's Victorian and Edwardian heyday.
Matthew applied his skills to working in the renovation industry, spending six years with a leading local firm as a joiner and sash window specialist before starting his own business. Now Sylwia takes care of the accounts, administration and marketing, while Matthew is still very much 'hands on' with each project.

We're based in Glasgow and most of our work comes from the elegant Victorian and Edwardian housing stock of that city - but we also work in the rest of Scotland, on buildings of any age, and in commercial and public property as well as residential houses and flats.

Beautifully crafted in every detail, double-glazed classic timber sash windows, were recently installed in Glasgow's West End family home. A wide range of skills was used on the existing timber windows which included a full sash and case restoration, draught proofing as well as remodelling and upgrading the homeowners' storm doors.
