Prince, this is the name that was given to a lost swan that turned up at our doorstep one day. The poor young soul was very confused and walked into the reception area, went through the hall and casually entered our kennel room. This five star, fully air-conditioned hotel had become a home for the night for Prince who was offered food, water and lots of attention.

Babesiosis in dogs is an infection caused by the single-celled parasite Babesia. This parasite infects red blood cells, both directly damaging the cells but also causing the body's own immune cells to attack red blood cells. This leads to an anaemia which can be life threatening. The main mode of transmission is through tick bites.

Have been using Eureka for many years now, (long before they became a Blue Cross centre) and will always happily recommend to anyone I know in the area with pets! Staff are brilliant, always friendly, helpful, listen to your concerns & they genuinely care about your pets - it's not just about making money like some vet practices we've sadly been to over my lifetime of being a pet owner! All my animals always go to and from totally chilled out, and don't even care or bat an eyelid when being prodded, poked & jabbed because the team are always so lovely to them they don't even seem to notice! And

Its really hard to find a vets who are genuine and really helpful let alone ones who happen to be good with rats which makes this vets even better. Eureka have cared for both my dog and my 7 rats and have been very helpful and honest along the way. They recently removed one of my rats eyes which healed beautifully and for surgery are much cheaper then most :)
