Sensei Pete Lakin
Report
Sensei Peter Lakin, 5th Dan has trained in Martial Arts continuously for over 18 years and for the last 14 years he has been a principal training partner of Peter Consterdine, the Chairman and Co-Chief Instructor of the British Combat Association.

He set up the British Combat Academy approximately 5 years ago with the principles of both Peter Consterdine and the British Combat Association clearly in mind - that application of Martial Arts and self defence taught by people with real experience and achieved with hard, intensive, progressive training.
Assistant Instructors
Report
Alex has trained in martial arts for 7 years. He is the clubs leading instructor on fitness and health and is available any time to help members with any fitness, health or martial art goals they may have. Alex takes the conditioning circuit classes twice a week and helps out with the junior kid's kickboxing classes.
Club Uniform
Report
It is the clubs belief that if you look smart then you can train smart and no-one will feel left out for wearing the wrong kit. We appreciate that to buy it all at once can be costly but in line with every other martial art club we are changing the rules so that all members dress the same to create a feeling of solidarity amongst ourselves.
Grading & Belts
Report
The grading syllabus will be made known to every member so they will acknowledge and understand the level of skill they have to be competent at prior to grading. Grading is not compulsory and everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace to realise the goals they set themselves. Grading however, is not also a given.
