As we cautiously return to normal we are still encouraging customers to wear face masks in the store, and our staff will wear masks when not behind the till. Feel free to use the sanitiser, and our staff may ask you to do this before playing any instruments, so please don't be offended if they do. If the store seems full we may also invite customers to wait outside, and the one-way system is still in place.

A Major is a family run instrument and sheet music business, with a store in Trentham Shopping Village. We sell instruments, sheet music and accessories to teachers, students, hobbyists, people just experimenting with music, and seasoned players alike. We are practicing musicians ourselves, and understand the industry, which is why we have the respect of so many music teachers in the area.

A Major Music have been providing support for musicians and schools in the county for almost 30 years, in the form of sheet music. We are now also offering instruments for sale. Learning to play a musical instrument has been shown in recent studies to aid all round brain development more than any other activity, including sports, or even just listening to music.
