City & Guilds Training Courses

Polaris Safety Training is a department within Design Electrical that is City & Guilds accredited. Outside of our usual Health & Safety training, we offer certified qualifications in the 18th Edition and Electric Vehicle Charging. Also known as BS 7671:2018, it's an opportunity for all electricians to be up to date with the latest industry standards.

Design Electrical NI are an authorised installer for the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS). We help our customers to save hundreds of pounds on the cost of installing electric vehicle chargers! We have teamed up with manufacturers to provide electric car charger stations to homes and businesses in Northern Ireland, the UK and ROI.

As an employer or landlord you are required by HSE to maintain all electrical installations and appliances that are used by your employees or on your premises. Design Electrical NI can cover all of these practicalities for you with a regular electrical maintenance contract. We'll also PAT (Portable Appliance Test) all relevant appliances.

Solar Maintenance

During our cleaning and maintenance service, we carry out a system health check to ensure that your Solar PV system is working to its full potential. Our service is carried out by a qualified installer. If left uncleaned, solar panels will quickly become dusty and grimy, with a build up of bird droppings.
