The school is open for Face to Face English lessons with levels beginner to advanced plus IELTS preparation. We are open for face to face teaching and are have classes running from Beginner to Advanced level along with IELTS preparation classes. Location - Moving forward this year, we have decided to relocate all our classes to our Burley Road school in order to improve our students' experience.
Historically Victoria Road was where the school started but to be more effective, we believe that the location and size are no longer practical or appropriate for our students' needs. Burley Road is a more modern building with better facilities and having everyone on the same site allows us to be more efficient and give an improved level of education and support to our students.

The Leeds English story

The story of our school begins in 2001. Over the years, the Leeds English family has grown as we have welcomed over 5000 students to study with us! We have travelled to meet with our partners and students and made some wonderful memories - this is our story. With some new colourful furniture and Leeds English purple on the walls, we improved the look and feel of our common rooms.
Meet the staff

We will always try our best to create a place where effective learning helps you to meet your individual needs and goals. I have been working with international students since 2003 and have a TEFL qualification which I gained in India. I work as a volunteer for LASSN teaching refugees and asylum seekers.

Leeds English Language School is situated near Burley Park which is a popular student area, west of the city centre. You will find great restaurants, shops, coffee houses, sports facilities and parks close by. We used to also have facilities on Victoria Road. Moving forward this year, we have decided to relocate all our classes to our Burley Road school in order to improve our students' experience.
Term dates

The school is open for face to face classes, and we welcome student applications for this year. We have up to 100 students at any one time and lots of different classes. Even if you come halfway through a term, we can find a good starting point for you. And then if you find it too difficult or too easy, we can change your class or give you extra help to catch up.

The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching, welfare, and care of under 18s and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected. ISI (Independent School Inspectorate) is a government-approved body which inspects the quality of independent schools.
