Transforming Lives Through Mental Health Support & Housing
At Response, we are a charity dedicated to transforming lives through mental health support and housing. For over 60 years, we have provided essential wellbeing resources, tailored support programmes, and safe stable housing. Operating across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, and beyond, we support people aged 11 and above, right through to those in their final years of life. Our services for adults include supported housing and substance misuse support, while our youth services cater to individuals aged 11-25, offering housing and mental health interventions. Our housing team ensures individuals access the right home, combining mental health care with stable living environments. We collaborate with local authorities, schools, and healthcare providers to deliver person-centred care, early intervention, and community integration. Our trauma-informed approach and recovery-focused support have helped over 400 adults achieve stability and independence in 2022 alone. With a dedicated team of professionals, we provide 24/7 support in intensive services, medication assistance, and nutrition support where needed. Our outreach programmes, such as CAMHS Outreach and Supportive Steps, address acute mental health needs through social prescribing and specialist interventions. We also operate the Thatcham Wellbeing Hub, offering preventative and open-access support for young people aged 11-25. Through partnerships like the Oxfordshire Mental Health Partnership (OMHP), we ensure comprehensive care and timely discharge from hospital settings into community-based support.

Report
Response employees are giving this place 5 stars. It's easy to tell which reviews are genuine. Calling that out for what it is.

Report
Ignores complaints has absolutely no care about domestic issues nobody wants to ring up flagging repairs because of the stress of trying to get response to do something. Staff do not deliver on what they say lived with them for 4 years not one housemate has a good word to say about them. If you work for response you should not be leaving reviews as you have never had to rely on their service.

Response is a caring, forward thinking - award-winning organisation who puts clients at the centre of everything they do! They have also been awarded the Investors in People GOLD award 3 years in a row. Sad to see the misinformed view of other users.

Report
The response organisation to me, after two and a half years of living in their properties, is completely deluded about the mentally ill, and is just not fit for purpose - unless their purpose is to build up a big property portfolio and leave the mentally ill to struggle with eachother for the rest of their lives in places of abuse and neglect.
