Founded in 2011 by Father and Son, Lance and Adam Allsop, The Shutter Studio specialised in dressing windows with luxury plantation shutters, or commonly also known as shutter blinds and wooden shutters. Over the years as our company has grown, so has the number of services we offer. Services such as shutter repairs, made to measure blinds, innovative motorised blinds and bespoke carpentry.
Our carpentry division, The Carpentry Studio, specialises in bespoke storage solutions and fine furniture. The Shutter Studio has invested in a state of the art carpentry and joinery workshop, based in Sevenoaks. Our workshop has enabled us to now specialise in not just plantation shutters, but also in bespoke joinery solutions.

Full height style shutters are a classic and are by far the most popular shutter style. A full height shutter gives complete privacy, by fully covering a window or opening from top to bottom. When opening and closing the shutters, the panels are hinged to the framework to allow you to open the shutter up, and fold the shutter panels back to your desired position.

Tier on tier shutters are effectively a full height shutter with a twist, they are the most versatile and adjustable window shutters out of all our shutter styles. Tiered shutters also known as split shutters give you two separate shutter panels one above another. Commonly known as sash window shutters, they enable you to open the top tier shutters allowing light to fill the room, whilst keeping the bottom tier closed for privacy.
