About
Report
Located at Lower Upnor on the banks of the tidal River Medway just down river from Chatham historic dockyard, MYC is only 35 miles from central London and is easily accessible from London, Kent, Sussex or Essex. The tidal Medway on which the club operates still provides the excellent sailing described by Ufa Fox, perfect for both racing and cruising.

Facilities
Report
Our library overlooks the River Medway and is an ideal space for private meetings or training seminars. MYC has over 200 sheltered moorings for boats from 18 to 42 feet located on the tidal River Medway. MYC moorings are served by a trot boat that runs regularly early morning and late afternoon on weekdays, and all day at weekends during the season.
Moorings
Report
The moorings are spaced to allow for different sizes of boats with the most popular being for sailing craft up to 10.5m. A limited number of swinging moorings can take yachts up to 13m. Fore and Aft berths can accommodate sailing and motor boats up to 11m in length. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate motor boats on swinging moorings.
Bar and Galley
Report
Our bar is well stocked with a good selection of Shepherd Neame draft beers, monthly guest beers and spirits, including local 'Dockyard' gin. Our wine list features those from the best regions of the world, including English vineyards. Our Galley is open on Wednesday evenings where seasonal dishes are prepared and served by our dedicated staff.
