We are a family run business based on Warren Lane, Stanway, Colchester. We are best known for our Prime Quality Lamb, We have been producing Lamb for the past 30 years and originally selling our Lamb through farmers markets. We now sell our Lamb direct through our shop with a good range of other locally sourced quality meats.
We have 600 breeding ewes, all of which are native breeds, mainly Welsh Crosses. These are all put to the Charollais Ram, to produce prime fat lambs. Our ewes and lambs are grazed extensively on local parkland and water meadows, being stocked at a very low rate of 3 ewes to the acre. The ewes return to the Farm in January for housing before they lamb in March.
