At Active Health Care Clinic we have over 70 years Osteopathic post qualification experience between us. Simeon Hempsall (BSc Hons) was born and bred in Sheffield. He went to the British School of Osteopathy in London where he graduated in 2001. He is a former professional cyclist and has competed in a number of major sports events including the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and 1994 Commonwealth Games.

Lower Back Pain

However, you may be surprised to know that back problems can also cause symptoms in other areas of the body (known as referred pain) such as the hips, legs (called sciatica), thighs, groin and buttocks.There can be many causes of Lower Back Pain including heavy lifting; regular bending or slouching; poor posture; prolonged periods of sitting, driving or standing; repetitive use of muscles (often through sport); over stretching; twisting and more.
