We are D H Dance Academy, a vibrant performing arts school established to inspire confidence through dance. Hayley trained at North London Dance Studios and performed in West End productions. She holds ISTD teaching qualifications and specialises in creating inclusive environments that develop technical skill and self-confidence in young dancers.
Holly Hillier
Co-Principal
Holly graduated from Urdang Academy with ISTD certifications. She holds Licentiate status in Ballet and Modern Theatre, focusing on progressive teaching methods that balance discipline with creative expression for dancers of all abilities.

Choreographer

What dance styles do you offer for beginners?
We provide Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Street Dance classes for ages 3+, with no prior experience required. Our structured syllabi ensure gradual progression in a supportive environment.
Can students take dance examinations?
Yes, we offer RAD Ballet and ISTD Tap & Modern examinations. Our pass rates exceed 95%, with exam preparation integrated into regular classes for students aged 6+.
Are trial classes available?
We offer one-week trial sessions at all locations. Book online via our Parent Portal, selecting your child's age and preferred location for immediate access.
What performance opportunities exist?
Students participate in annual showcases, charity events, and community performances. Selected groups attend workshops with industry professionals and perform at regional festivals.
Do you teach adult dance classes?
Our Adults Dance Fit classes combine choreography and barre training for all fitness levels. These sessions focus on improving coordination, strength, and dance technique in a social environment.
What qualifications do your instructors hold?

Hayley and Holly are so lovely. Our 4 year old has been doing Street Dance and Ballet in Hertford and loves it. They are lessons where you leave your child you do not watch. They are so professional, great communication. Really good value too.

My son has been attending dance classes for about a year. He was very shy and nervous initially and every effort was made to make him feel at ease. I have been impressed with how Hollie and Hayley have coped with being in Lockdown. Their positive and flexible approach has been great. Would definitely recommend DH Dance Academy to others.
