Cotswold Hills is widely regarded as one of the best courses in the county and has proudly hosted a number of prestigious tournaments throughout the years including the English Ladies Amateur Championship and the Mens County Championship.

A fully qualified PGA AAT coach, James has been head professional at Cotswold Hills Golf Club since 2005. With a vast knowledge and over 20 years of experience as a professional golfer, James is well-respected and revered.
In recent years James has provided expert coaching to the Gloucestershire Ladies 1st and 2nd teams, under 16 and under 14 boys teams, Gloucestershire Golf Partnership under 18 and under 14 academies and a number of golf professionals.James is a registered Flightscope teacher and an expert in club-making and repairs.

Set within mixed woodland high above the rolling hills of the Cotswolds beyond, the 6,800 yard Championship golf course is considered one of the finest in Gloucestershire. Designed by Club member and scratch golfer Morris Little and constructed in 1976, the course has matured into a true test of golf.

The practice area at Cotswold Hills Golf Club is not only the perfect place to warm up before you play but to help make significant improvements to your game. The 300 yard driving range, located close to the 10th hole, features 11 bays including 3 covered bays. Each bay is equipped with the very best mats from Huxley Golf, partner to the PGA, ensuring all-year-round play.
