Report
A superbly varied walk, that takes in the contrasting environments of a deep, sheltered, wooded valley and exposed open cliffs. It includes the village of Boscastle and the South West Coast Path. This is a challenge that rewards the walker with wide-ranging coastal views. The first of our Tester walks goes to the nearby South West Coast Path, gives a view over a picturesque cove of Pentargon before returning by the same route to the Farm shop.

Running our business as eco-friendly as possible is something that's very important to us. We wanted to become less dependent on the energy generated by the grid, and produce our energy in a much greener way. This helps us save over 12 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions every year, reducing our carbon footprint.

From home-made pies, quiches and cakes to soups and ready meals, all are lovingly hand-made in our coastal kitchen. Everything from our kitchens is made from scratch, using home produce, wherever possible. We know what's in our food because we make it ourselves and we use the same approach for every recipe whether it's for the shop, Deli or caf, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

The land is HLS (higher level stewardship) & SSSI (site of special scientific interest) with no fertilizers / sprays etc. In winter the cows graze the cliffs for two months, this is with the backing of Natural England & The National Trust. The females are kept for breeding & the males are sold to Boscastle Farm Shop at 30 -36 months.
