As the founder of Norfolk Stairlifts and now " The Old Retainer", Steve enjoys his involvement alongside our engineers as well as the various tangential tasks that crop up. Steve is very proud of the way Sam has taken on and operates the business as a decent and responsible company.
Away from Norfolk Stairlifts, Steve is a volunteer for the National Trust at Blickling doing hands-on maintenance and repairs and in his spare time, he takes to the sky in his Microlight.Steve also describes himself as an inveterate Mackler, someone who makes something out of nothing. Sam works with a team of committed people who thrive on providing the best possible service.

The brand new 1100 is a new concept in straight stairlift technology. There is no tooth rack on the Handicare 1100. This means that unlike other stairlifts, there is no grease or oil on the rail collecting dust and dirt. The Brooks straight stairlift is our most cost effective model and is considered one of the most reliable stairlifts available and is a fantastic no frills low budget product.
