Longhirst Hall Golf Club, boasting two beautiful but different courses, offering the challenge of the American style Lakeland courses, coupled with the stunning surroundings of the Northumberland countryside. Lovely course, same about my not playing a game this time. Would recommend anybody to come and play at Longhirst and would like a challenge on the Lakes Course. Beautiful place to play stay and make a day of it play both courses great features on both courses. Dawson course is a great challenge. We travelled 2 hrs to play both courses and we was not disappointed both courses quality and in superb condition.

Longhirst boasts 2 championship courses, of which both have hosted The PGA Europro tour for 9 years. Easily accessible, only 25 minutes from the centre of Newcastle, and only 3 miles from the A1, Longhirst is in the perfect location to enjoy your golf in tranquil surroundings. Sculpted over 40 lakes and ponds, the courses are designed with a definite Florida lakeland feel, truly unique in the North of England, and an experience not to be missed.

We can accommodate visiting parties 7 days a week. With packages that can include range ball practice, golf and food, we tailor each groups requirements individually. That way, we know, and you know, you will get the most from your visit with us. For the larger groups, we accommodate a lot of shotgun starts, which are particularly popular for corporate or charity events.
Membership

We therefore offer a number of packages that suit both cost and lifestyle. To have just one fee, we know, does not suit the majority of golfers. As a club we pioneered the multi memberships packages back in 1997, and still prove hugely popular. We also have our popular corporate memberships, which can be built around your requirements to include golf days, tee sign advertising etc.
Academy
Report
Members of the general public can use the range at any time, but we have also launched an academy membership. Longhirst Golf club members automatically receive the academy membership. Paul started golf at the age of 9 and quickly took to the game by winning Major Junior and National events. At the age of 16 Paul gained his Northumberland County Colours in his first 3 games.
