Owned and managed by the Ryder family, our brand new hotel is located just outside the village of Cawthorne in South Yorkshire, just 10 minutes from junctions 37 or 38 of the M1. The hotel is right next to our house, set within its own specially designed gardens, with views of the countryside beyond.

Our rooms are designed to be as cosy and homelike as possible, without compromising on hygiene and safety. At more than 1 times bigger than standard boarding cattery "pens", our rooms really are human-sized. Our double rooms are suitable for 1-2 cats to share and our even bigger family rooms are suitable for up to 4 cats from the same family.

Cawthorne Cat Hotel has been designed to be as home-like as possible. All our decorated rooms are beautifully furnished with beds, activity trees, and "human" chairs, but there is plenty of space for you to bring toys, beds, and furnishings from home as well, to help your cat settle in. You are welcome to take as much time as you like settling your cat when you arrive, and we'll help you arrange their room just the way they'd like it.

At Cawthorne Cat Hotel, ALL of our rooms are much larger than standard cattery pens, and meet the new 5 star higher welfare standards for catteries which were introduced in 2018. Our double rooms are even bigger than the "family" rooms at many other catteries which are used to house 4 cats! Short stays of 5 days or less are subject to an additional fee of 20.
