Our premises are modern and clean, we have all the most up to date equipment and expertise needed to use it, and our staff all genuinely love animals.

Whether you have a poorly kitten, a lame dog, a bald chicken or a sneezing tortoise, we will do our best to sort them out. Even if you just have a question about feeding or exercise, give us a call and we can give you whatever advice you need. We are especially excited about our new rehabilitation and hydrotherapy suite which allows us to offer many treatments, including underwater treadmill (below).
Services
Anaesthetics
Report
Most animals, at some point in their lives will undergo a general anaesthetic. It may be for routine neutering, dental treatment, investigations (x-rays or biopsies) or even life saving surgery. Each time you will be asked to sign a consent form giving us permission to perform the procedure and listing potential complications (including death).
Annual Health Check
Report
Your pet's annual vaccination is an important part of keeping them well, but it is much more than just a vaccination. It gives an opportunity for a full head to toe health check and time to discuss any issues such as training, feeding or any other questions you may have. Heart and Lungs - we listen to your pet's heart and lungs using a stethoscope.
Geriatric
Report
As animals age, changes occur in their bodies. Some of these changes are familiar to us, eg arthritis affecting the joints, but in other parts of the body they may not be so obvious. The muscle in the heart may not pump so well, the cells in the intestines may not absorb food so well. The immune system will not be able to fight infection as well, and the healing process can take longer.
Weight Watchers
Report
The basic principle of weight loss is simple. If you take in less calories than you use, you will lose weight. Unfortunately life is not always this simple and it can sometimes be difficult to dramatically reduce the amount of food your pet eats (e.g. with scavengers), or to increase their exercise (e.g. if they have arthritis).
Fleas, Ticks & Worming
Report
There is a lot of confusion about how, when and what you should use to treat your pet for fleas, ticks and worms. Initially it can be broken down into young animals and adults. Puppies and kittens inherit roundworms from their mum (unless in the case of dogs, the mum is wormed daily from day 42 of pregnancy until 2 days after birth).
