John has worked in lawn and garden care for over 30 years, including 12 years with the worlds largest garden care products company. He has travelled throughout the UK and USA developing a network of suppliers to bring the latest and best products and practices to your lawn and garden. Kate is actively involved in both the treatment and administrative side of the business and has been since 2007.
Chris joined us in Autumn 2017, initially helping with cultural projects. He is keen on pursuing outdoor activities and his allotment. Since early retirement he is now enjoying a variety work roles and giving your lawn the best care when completing treatments. David joined us in Autumn 2013, he is a lawn fanatic, having being involved in lawn treatments industry since 2005.

At Greener Gardens our petrol driven machine uses vertical blades to cut through dead organic matter and horizontal shoot growth. Where horizontal shoots are cut they re-sprout leading to a denser sward. This is an intensive procedure, we normally complete this treatment at selected times during the Spring and Autumn, when conditions are suitable for the lawn to recover.
Aeration

Aeration can be completed in different ways, the type which is best for your lawn will depend on different factors including the time of year and soil conditions. The purpose of aeration is to improve soil health allowing water and nutrients to pass into the root zone, which also aids gaseous exchange releasing toxic chemicals.
