Only 1 star because there is not an option for 0 stars. Avoid this company or the directors Edward Hamilton and family at all costs. They took a large 40% deposit from me for an oak garage in December 2020 knowing at the time the company was about to go into liquidation. Edward Hamilton now plans to rise like a phoenix having stolen cash from many customers like me. I challenged him personally in this via email and have given him sufficient time to rectify the situation which he has not done. He runs the company with his family so avoid any companies with the same directors. Including the wedding

I commissioned Oakmasters when I wanted a high end bespoke solid oak garage to compliment our Grade II listed home. You can tell they've been a family business for over 30years from the exceptional quality and finish. We had a top class personal service from tricky listed buildings planning permission right through to bespoke design consultation build and finishing. There's alot of cheap imitations out there, but there's simply no better place than Oakmasters for oak framed buildings if you want quality.

In my opinion I would never use them and wish I could turn back the clock, so that I never had. Catalogue of expensive errors which Oakmasters have backed away from. At the design stage they failed to take in account pipes (thankfully Oakmasters paid for this after a huge number of emails and worry) on delivery the wood was cut in the wrong place (time and emails before this was resolved) gave incorrect planning information which they will not take responsibility. This has been the most costly issue. If Oakmasters do come back denying they know me please look under the Mid Sussex planning portal
