Gaylords antiques was formed in 1966 by my late father Don Hebbard, opening his first shop in 1971, in Portsmouth, with a stock worth the princely sum of 80! Working with my father as a school boy, then as a young man, gave me a privileged opportunity to become not only educated about antiques but also appreciate his great love of antique furniture, which in time passed onto me.
