The Dolphin Swimming School is a family run business established in 1975 by Marianne Davies, an ex competitive swimmer and former P.E teacher. Our gently structured swim programme of 30 minute sessions runs alongside the school term. Marianne and her instructors have such a passion for swimming, they just inspire the children.

The Dolphin Swimming School is a family run business established in 1975 by Marianne Davies, an ex competitive swimmer and former P.E teacher. The school gives a high standard of swimming tuition in a safe, friendly environment for children of all abilities from 6 weeks. At our 3 luxury venues in Barnet and St Albans the classes are small at all levels and there is also a swimming co-ordinator present at all sessions to help with any queries.

A child's place is booked and committed for the whole term; cancellation during the term will receive no refunds and cannot be made up or transferred. The charges set out are for a specified time and day, there will be no refunds given for cancellation, or absence whatever the reason. Any additional lessons will be charged at the normal rate.
QE Boys School

Please use the following class descriptions as guidance when booking the most appropriate class for your child/children. Please then tick the relevant box on the booking form. Exclusively designed for our Pre-School students, this class is suitable for children under the age of 5, who have never had swimming lessons before.
Crash Course
Report
We run intensive Crash Course during half term, easter break and the summer holiday for all levels. Our crash courses consist of one half hour lesson each day for 5 days, Monday to Friday. Crash courses can really help children learn and retain new skills more easily over short intensive period of time.
We offer 1-2-1s and 2-2-1s at all our pools. This type of lesson is particularly beneficial if you are particularly nervous, or have a phobia of water. The qualified teacher is there, dedicated specifically to your needs. 1-2-1 and 2-2-1 sessons are ideal for those children who need that little bit of extra help to progress onto the next stage within the mainstream lessons.
