Primary Education
Our core offering provides comprehensive education for children aged 4-11, following the national curriculum. Qualified teachers deliver structured lessons in modern classrooms equipped with interactive technology. We maintain small class sizes to ensure individual attention and track pupil progress through regular assessments.
Character Development
The Route to Resilience programme develops essential character traits through classroom activities and extracurricular engagement. Children learn perseverance, empathy, and teamwork through structured challenges and peer mentoring. Character Champions promote positive values throughout the school day.
Outdoor Learning
We utilise our on-site pond, Forest School facilities, and proximity to Bradgate Park for hands-on environmental education. These resources support science lessons, physical development, and risk-assessment skills. Regular outdoor sessions encourage exploration and connection with natural ecosystems.
SEND Support
Our EPIC services team provides specialist educational psychology and speech therapy support. Individualised learning plans address specific needs, with regular progress reviews involving parents and external specialists. We maintain accessible facilities and trained staff to support all learners.

Mrs Norman leads our dedicated teaching team with over 20 years' experience in primary education. She focuses on maintaining high academic standards while ensuring children's emotional well-being.

I finished woolden hill in 2017 and I was so excited to leave and move on but in the last week I decided no this is a great school. The staff are super friendly and have been very supportive in the 7 years Ive been there and I still miss everyone a year later. Thank you woolden hill for a great school life I miss you all

My daughter started here September 2017, shes settled in really well, the staff are lovely, really friendly and approachable. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for their child. The schools headteacher is always outside to chat with parents in the mornings and to welcome the children, she has taken the time to get to know all the children by name. The schools pta put on many exciting events to help raise money for the children.
