A destination pub that was busy when we visiter over Christmas and would almost certainly be rammed in the summer. Great setting, overlooking yhe estuary. Menu looks great. Beer good (Young's). Would definitely recommend this venue.

Top food. Plaice was on the special. Cooked to perfection, C&A burger was also good. Brill atmosphere and if with a window seat looking out onto the harbour, a great view. Dog friendly pub, so after a meal, with your furry friend a great day can be had. Perhaps washed down with a Young's pint. Enjoyed the pub. Parking also available.

Very welcoming and child friendly staff.
Seating comfortably distanced ( something we were slightly anxious about in these current circumstances). Great food , totally recommend the fish and chips and the cod loin burger .

Overall it was OK. We were a bit disappointed by the appetisers; the Frito Misto was overdone (calamari and octopus were very rubbery), the Scotch Egg was quite bland and the sauce it came with was too sweet. The scallops were delicious and the mains were good. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Wide range of seafood on the menu. Call me biased, seafood is fresh, tasty and delicious. Oh, and the Bl**dy Mary was decent using Tom Hardy(?) spiced tomato juice. Quaffed a couple of those to accompany my lunch. Ate the food with much gusto and completely forgot to take any photos - sorry! So it looks like you will have to go there and see for yourself.
