C.W.Waddington Ltd was founded by Clifford Waddington in 1930 at the premises on Bridge Place, Worksop. His son, Trevor Waddington, joined the company in 1957, with the third generation of the family, Trevor's daughter Jane, joining her father in the business in 2000. The shop has always been at Bridge Place, expanding into the adjoining store in the 1950's and now occupying the entire corner plot.

Ready to wear suits and jackets from our core brands, Digel & Magee include formal 2- & 3-piece suits as well as casual linen/silk, wool & Donegal Tweed jackets.

Waddington's has extensive ranges of wedding, formal and evening hirewear, along with a collection of complementary accessories. Wedding options include the classic gentlemen's tailcoat, Prince Edward jacket and lounge suits, with accompanying stripe or herringbone trousers and a wide selection of waistcoats, all of which are also available in children's sizes.

With over 50 years' experience, and a host of awards and trophies, including a Commonwealth Gold Medal, Trevor Waddington's reputation is based on an unparalleled level of workmanship and service. After achieving distinction at the Tailor & Cutter Academy in London in the early 1960's, Trevor subsequently worked with Bernard Weatherill, the late Speaker of the House of Commons, on Jermyn Street in London.
