Services
Pain Clinic
Report
Karl Grimm is our expert on back and joint pain. We call his clinic the Pain Clinic and he sees patients five days a week. Karl is the person you need to see if you are in pain. From joints out of alignment, to pulled muscles, sporting mishaps and old injuries, he will have a treatment strategy to bring you pain relief.
Aromatherapy
Report
Aromatherapy is a type of massage using essential oils. Essential oils have been used as far back as Roman and Egyptian times for their health giving properties and are distilled from aromatic plants. Aromatherapists create a blend of oils specifically for you which are then diluted in a carrier oil (like Grapeseed Oil or Sweet Almond Oil).
Biomechanics
Report
In Biomechanics we examine foot function and the effect this has on the rest of the body. By assessing your posture and analysing your gait, our therapist can see whether any misalignment in the foot is causing problems further up the body. The solution is prescription orthotics - custom made insoles.
Counselling
Report
We are proud to be the Ayrshire base for Cruse Scotland - the charity that provides bereavement counselling in Scotland. If you have been bereaved for six months or more and are struggling to come to terms with it, please contact Cruse directly to access their services. You can request sessions at The Carrick Clinic and once your needs have been assessed they will organise an appointment for you.
Deep Tissue Massage
Report
Deep Tissue Massage can include elements of remedial, Swedish and sports massage and is used to target specific back and limb problems. The massage techniques help the body by increasing blood and lymph circulation to the tissues. This helps the body to release toxins into the circulation where they can be carried out of the body.
