Our rides can take people all over the open moorland and down into the valleys and clear streams below. Brendon Manor's location and trekking routes not only takes in the unspoilt ruggedness of Exmoor, but also the natural beauty of the North Devon coastline. We also welcome local riders who wish to ride on a more regular basis, please contact us to discuss discounted rates.

To participate in some of the longer treks, we may ask for a 15-minute riding assessment to take place prior to agreeing to escorting you. We have a strict weight policy of 14.5st/92kg for the safety of yourself and our horses. If this is doubted, we may ask you to privately confirm this with a suitable member of our staff.

I'm very energetic, so if you are booked in for a long ride today, there is every chance you will see me. Otherwise, I'll be in the field, eating, possibly sleeping, having a gallop, eating, and umm, eating. It will be a few years before we are available for trekking but expect to see us in and around the stables on your visit to Brendon Manor.

At Brendon Manor, we are now able to offer short term livery, or as we know it, Horse B&B. We understand that every horse has different needs, which we would be happy to help you meet.
