Nick and I went to view Achnagairn House as a potential wedding venue as we were looking for something a little different to a hotel - somewhere that would be really cosy for our planned winter wedding and where guests could feel relaxed as if they were in our own home. Achnagairn ticked all the boxes! We had an amazing time there from the 24th - 26th November 2010 and guests have not stopped commenting on our choice of venue and how personal it felt to stay there. My Husband and I had our wedding at Achnagairn House a month ago. We had an absolutely amazing day which well exceeded our expectations. The house is a fantastic venue (we loved it even when we first saw it after a massive wedding had just left). I wanted something different, relaxed and fun. We looked at many hotels but often they are very fixed on how the day is run and we wanted some flexibility. Achnagairn is run on an exclusive use basis, as such it really is yours for 2 days, and the staff are very unobtrusive making everything extremely relaxed and friendly. We arrived to find a pristine

I was at Achnagairn House on Sunday the 6th June 2010 and I had the *BEST meal that I have eaten in the Highlands. The presentation was superb and we were lucky enough to have a tour of the House first...awesome.
Deserves Five Gold Stars from Visit Scotland. Hope to be lucky enough to go again.
