Nicholson's Raw Animal Foods
We are a family run business based in Southend On Sea in Sunny Essex, with over 40 years' experience, in breeding training, and the welfare, of dog's cats and various animals. We only use human grade chicken in our raw dog food, sourced from Defra Approved plants. Our chicken mince has nothing added or taken away, we mince the whole carcase of the chicken including the skin and we do not sell rib cages as carcases as many others do.

The reason they do is they cut off the meaty backs and sell these to restaurants for chicken soup, mincing only the low grade rib cage with very little meat content, hence the prices of their products. They sell the core, we sell the apple. Look at the images of our carcases for our raw dog food and then take a look at theirs.

Raw Dog Food Shop

The Reason we ship in batches of 10 Kilo is that we have carried out rigorous testing on a multiplicity of moulded high density polystyrene boxes that have been designed with portability in mind and offer an efficient and cost-effective means of protecting food in transit while preserving temperatures, ensuring your meat arrives at your door frozen.
Feeding Guides
Report
I'm often asked about feeding guides customers come in and say my Xoloitzcuintle weighs 24 Stone how much should I feed it 4 times a-day? Unless your dog is between the ages of 8-weeks to 6/8-months I have never seen any benefits to feeding them twice or three times a day.

The whole concept behind the raw feeding diet is to get back to nature and to start feeding your dog not only what is good for the animal but moreover what its body was designed to eat.
Dogs and Wolves
Report
On the road south of Helmsdale is the famous Glen Loth Wolfstone commemorating, at least according to Scrope in his book "The Art of Deerstalking", the spot where the last surviving wolf in Sutherland was killed.

The stone attracts many tourists, as indeed it was intended to do when it was erected in 1923, long after the wolf died so conveniently close to the A9, but such is the interest in wolves, and so important were wolves to the lifestyle of British agriculturalists that there are few countries where the memory of the last wolves is not preserved in monuments and place names.
