Founded in 1970 and being part of the Diocese of Clifton, ours is a family orientated school which is part of the Parish of St Augustine of Canterbury, Downend and St John Fisher, Frenchay.
Enrichment
Report
We encourage participation in as many sports as is practical to organise. We participate in regular tournaments either organised by sports clubs or as part of the Emmaus school network. We have summer links with Frenchay Cricket Club who are sent Australian or New Zealand players who offer coaching session for our older children.
Sports Premium
Report
The Government provide PE and Sport Premium to most primary schools and the amount is dependent on the number of pupils currently in Years 1-6. The funding is given to support schools to make sustainable improvements to PE and sport. For example, schools might choose to increase the range of resources or sports on offer or to develop the staff skills or on site provision to benefit both current and future pupils.
