
The company was set up by Wayne Bromley FFPWS to make dealing with the Party Wall Act Etc. 1996 easier, more ethical and transparent. After spending many years renovating properties and being fed up of dealing with unscrupulous party wall surveyors who offered bad service and charged thousands of pounds in fees Wayne decided with his team to start Mr Party Wall, with a vision of how the Party Wall Surveyor should operate.
We are proud to offer a personal approach of a small organisation and expertise of a large company to all our clients. We are the only company to cover the whole of England and Wales and we won't charge you more because you live in a beautiful rural location or in a city. Our fees are fixed and the same for everyone.

If you are planning works that fall under the Party Wall etc Act 1996, notice needs to be served on all parties concerned, e.g. Under the Party Wall etc Act 1996 there are certain timescales that you need to adhere to as both the Building and Adjoining Owner.
Obviously serving Notice yourself is the first way to save money but please be aware that if the Notices are incorrect in any way and a dispute arises they may be deemed invalid and new Notices will have to be served and the notice period will start again.If you would like any further advice on Notices or would like Mr Party Wall to serve Notice on your behalf, please contact us.

If your neighbour intends to have building works carried out that involve alterations to your Party wall or excavations within 3 metres of your property, the Act requires that you are given due notice of the proposals and that agreement as to the execution of the works is in place prior to their commencement.
