Our Doctors and Nurses provide NHS clinics and services to almost 3000 registered patients. We also provide a range of private clinics and services available to registered patients and the general public. We are a teaching practice linked to Queen's University Belfast School of Medicine and the Physician Associate Studies Programme at the University of Ulster.
We are currently accepting new patients - so if you are looking for a GP and live within our practice boundary then you are free to register with the practice. For private services including appointments, medicals, Driver Medicals NI and Bangor Travel Clinic there is no need to register - call 028 91 455 000 to make an appointment.

Services
Surgery Hours
Report
Please note that the practice is closed from 18.00 each evening until 08.30 the following morning and closed on weekends, bank and public holidays. If you need to contact a doctor in an emergency during the out-of-hours period please phone the North Down and Ards GP out-of-hours service (NDADOC) on 028 9182 2344.
Appointments
Report
Routine doctors' appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. The reason routine appointments are not available to book further in advance is that more people do not attend (DNA) when we allow booking further in advance and this deprives other patients of appointments. Appointments to see the practice nurse or healthcare assistant are pre-bookable up to 4 weeks in advance.
Test Results
Report
Please help us by ensuring any specimens you are requested to provide are given in the correct container and are labelled. Failure to do so will mean the laboratory cannot process your specimen. Specimens must be brought in before 11.30 due to lab collection times. The doctors review all test results and record a message for the patient.
Noticeboard
Report
We receive lots of flyers, posters and information at the Practice but there just isn't space to display it all so we have decided to create this virtual noticeboard which also means our patients can access this information without having to come to the Practice. We have also tried to sort the information alphabetically to help you find what you need.
More Information
Report
You can book appointments, order repeat prescriptions and change your contact information online or on your mobile phone. The registration is simple - but for security we will need you to come into the Surgery with some proof of ID before we give you a PIN and access ID. Acceptable ID is a photo driving licence or a passport.
