Woods packaging first moved to Castleford back in 1993 into a 1500 cu ft warehouse and then 5 years later it doubled its warehouse space by moving to its present location. Continued growth over the last 2 years in particular has allowed Woods Packaging to acquire the attached warehouse resulting in a doubling of available warehouse capacity to 6,000 square feet.

We specialize in polythene for a wide variety of applications, bags for sofas, mattresses, carpets and even smaller polythene bags for small devices and parts. We consider ourselves to be one of the market leaders however in the furniture industry supplying most major retailers and furniture transport companies.
Furniture Covers 7

Our polythene sofa covers come in five different sizes Armchair (72" x 54"), 2 Seater (96" x 54"), 3 Seater (108" x 54"), 4 Seater (120" x 54") and 5 Seater (132" x 54") they also come in 3 different thicknesses (gauge) however the only gauge which is available as individual bags is our 200 gauge which offers both a dust cover and sufficient protection, 120 gauge (which is only really used as a dust cover or to go under a padded cover) and 400 gauge (which offers heavy duty protection) are only available in roll quantities please contact us for more information on this.
Carpet Protection 3

In addition to our furniture and mattress covers we offer polythene tubing for carpets sometimes known as carpet sleeving. This is commonly sold in a width of either 24" or 18" this only comes in a 250 gauge thickness. This can be cut to size and either cable ties or sealing tape can be used to secure the ends.

We have the capacity to have bespoke polythene bags made to the size you require in which a minimum order quantity would be required, we do have polythene bags which we stock like this for other customers which use large quantities we can offer these sizes for sale from stock so might find a size you can work with in the open ended section the first measurement is the side in which the bag opens.
