Our History

NR Barton can trace its story back to 1948, when founder Norman Richard Barton opened the firm from offices in King Street, Wigan. A lot has happened in the last 70 years as the firm has grown and developed. Roger Mason joined the firm in 1962, becoming a partner in 1970 and this coincided with our move to 20 Bridgeman Terrace (we then expanded into 19 and 21 too).
