Broken / Chipped Teeth
Report
Although the enamel that protects our teeth is extremely strong, our teeth can still become cracked or chipped during day to day life. Sports injuries, accidents, teeth grinding or even biting into hard foods can cause teeth to chip or crack. Broken or chipped teeth may not cause immediate pain, but if the break has travelled near the nerve, you may notice pain when chewing food or have a sensitivity to hot or cold substances.
White Fillings
Report
If you need a filling, you have the option to choose a white filling material that matches the shade of your surrounding natural teeth. White fillings can be used on any tooth, front or back of the mouth. They are the perfect solution for a natural looking way to strengthen and repair function to damaged teeth.
Teeth Whitening
Report
If you feel self-conscious about the shade of your teeth or staining on your teeth, teeth whitening treatment can be a very effective way of lightening the colour of the natural teeth without damaging the enamel or surface of the tooth. At Spires Oral Care in Magherafelt, Anne or Megan will carry out a tooth whitening procedure using either 6% hydrogen peroxide or 10%/16% carbamide peroxide to brighten the colour of the natural teeth.
Gaps/ Composite & Ceramic Veneers
Report
Veneers are a flexible treatment option, usually made with a ceramic material that are used to close gaps in the teeth or make the teeth appear straighter. Veneers are a great treatment to consider, because they look like real, natural teeth but do not require any major procedure. This procedure involves removing a small quantity of enamel from your tooth to allow for a smooth fitting of the veneer.
Crowns
Report
A crown is a type of dental restoration used to fix teeth that have been broken or chipped, weakened by decay or that contain a very large filling. Crowns fit over the remaining part of the tooth to give it the look of a real tooth. A crown could be the perfect solution if you want to improve your smile or improve the appearance of discoloured fillings.
