London's leading pre-vocational performing arts school for boys and girls aged 3 to 18 years and adults. Students on courses at Glenlyn Academy take classes in Musical Theatre, Acting, Singing, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Commercial, Acrobatics and Street Jazz. With studios across South London, students travel from across the capital as well as from surrounding counties to take classes at Glenlyn Academy.
Our two main studios are located in Sydenham and in Chislehurst. Students of all ages and abilities are welcome at Glenlyn Academy. Classes are taught at four ability levels, 1st Steps (3 to 6 years old), Level 1 (Foundation), Level 2 (Intermediate) and Level 3 (Advanced). Each individual student is placed within the correct ability class to ensure that they gain valuable skills, knowledge and understanding to progress and develop.

Every single teacher has taught me so much and I'm so thankful for everything Glenlyn has done for me. A Fellow of the NATD with over 35 years experience of teaching at Glenlyn. Patricia specialises in teaching ballet, from the primary grades through to students taking their major examinations. Patricia is also the Academy's Operations and Pastoral Liaison.

With studios across South London, students travel from across the capital as well as from surrounding areas to take classes at Glenlyn Academy. Teaching takes place at two separate studio locations; throughout the week and at weekends classes take place at our central studios in Lewisham and Sydenham.

GA Virtual Studio

The GA Virtual Studio gives students the opportunity to train in the performing arts from home. Using a unique combination of live classes, on demand videos, a library of theory and knowledge resources, students receive a bespoke online training experience. The GA Virtual Studio allows students and parents to log in securely and receive content that is uniquely designed for them.
