Everybody's got anxiety about dentistry. The difference at Aquae Sulis is we are sensitive to this reality at all times - we think excellent clinical results should always go hand in hand with our patients' physical and emotional comfort. About half the population don't regularly go to the dentist, largely because of dental-phobia, so it's clear that anxiety is still a really big obstacle to health for an awful lot of people.
Meet The Team

The team at Aquae Sulis Dental is led by Dr Ian Bellamy. Having obtained an Honours degree in Microbiology with microbial genetics, Ian then read Dentistry, qualifying in 1991 from Dundee University. He has subsequently worked in a number of practices before taking over Aquae Sulis Dental in 1998. All members of the team are dedicated to the provision of excellent dentistry and customer service.

Our principal dentist Ian Bellamy has steadily built a store of goodwill among the people of Bath since he came here from Nottingham in 1998. His ethos is to always deliver the highest level of care possible, and to do what he says he is going to do, which is probably why we have become a popular referral destination for dentists across the region who need a safe place to send patients for advanced treatments.
