Was here Christmas day for lunch and the food was outstanding and service was top class... all staff were realy pleasant and helpful.....would definitely recommend

First impressions were good, reasonable sized Room and large bathroom. However the following morning it was another matter. Wife and I woke up with back ache as the bed was so hard. Chairs were stacked up by a sign saying keep clear. When I showed the photo to reception the receptionist said I was in a staff area, the sign above the door said terrace, no mention of staff area. Either way it shouldn't matter. She then rudely said I can see this is going nowhere. .. nice

Very young staff in the restaurants, sometimes forgetting attention to detail, eg, food items missing, had to go back to the kitchen, table settings missing salt and pepper. Very apologetic and keen to rectify anything wrong. Overall we were impressed by the standard of facilities.

Lovely hotel with clean and well furnished rooms. We had an evening meal which was really good. Breakfast was high quality and a good variety. The staff are all superb and very friendly and attentive. The hotel is within walking distance of the botanical gardens and the town of Nether Edge which has good shopping and a variety of bars and restaurants.
