Services
Services
Report
With over 20 years experience of high quality printing and mounting for some of the most discerning photographers and artists Spectrum has built a reputation for quality, reliability and excellent customer service. Archival quality C-Type photographic prints are exposed onto Fuji Crystal Archive papers.
Fine Art Papers
Report
Photographic C-type prints are made by exposing light onto colour paper, which is then developed and washed using traditional photographic techniques. Wet developed as with traditional photographic printing, our processors are equipped with an extra wash stage to increase the archival stability of your prints.
Giclée Printing
Report
Gicle, the French word for 'spray', refers to the ink jet printing process used to produce these beautiful archival standard fine art prints. We use professional, fade-resistant Epson inks and a range of high quality Gicle papers, resulting in beautiful, fully archival prints with incredibly fine detail.
Studio Services
Report
Our studio team are highly experienced in a range of processes to help you achieve the highest quality prints of your work. Printing with our studio can give you additional print options not available with our automated online service. This can give you total control over your printing and peace of mind that we are overseeing the whole process.
Scanning
Report
Spectrum offer CCD scans on an Imacon X5 scanner. This enables us to produce scans in either 8 or 16-bit depth with a quality that really does rival any drum scan. This scanner handles all film formats up to 54. We recommend using the X5, particularly when scanning colour negatives, as it can give a smoother scan than achievable with a drum scanner.
