Our service and restoration department is divided between the Jaguar section which specialises in E Type service and restoration and servicing work on all Jaguars from 50's era to brand new. We have Jaguar Master Tech staff and up to date diagnostic equipment. We also carry out various maintenance works on other classic and sports cars including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin and Mercedes etc.

The Classic Connection is your throw back to a bygone era. When black turtle necks were in, cheese and onion Walkers came in a green bag and fuel injection is what you did at the petrol pump.
With our ship's captain, Charles Ramsey at the helm, our goal is to bring that nostalgia back to your life with cars and bikes which span the best decades, memorabilia from your favourite TV and movies and all to be regaled by motoring stories over a cup of fresh ground.

The Team

Doting wife of Mr Charles Ramsey, you will often find Andrea shouting profanities at Charles from her office. When she isn't managing Charlie, Andrea is running our new Classic Connection Cafe. When asked to pass comment on how much she enjoys working at The Classic Connection, she politely declined.
Service Centre

We have our own inhouse MOT bay, it is a unique setup still using a pit with original equipment some going back as far as the seventies. We have what they call Grandfather rights which enables us to still work in a way that in some modern garages is not possible. This of course has to still be compliant and is regularly tested and calibrated.
Dawson Engineering

Standing strong since the late 40's Dawson Engineering has been part of the Burley village supplying fuel and offering mechanical work. Now fully owned and controlled by Charles Ramsey, we have kept Dawson Engineering going but added a touch of the classic with a purpose built showroom for you to look through.
Classic Connection Cafe

Just when you thought Classic Connection couldn't be any better we have gone and added a caf built inside a Citroen H Van. Stop by and grab a brew and pastry whilst getting service work done, topping up your car or looking over our collection. All products are locally sourced in the Dorset & Hampshire area.
