Cavity Wall Insulation
Report
A cavity wall is made up of two walls with a gap in between the 'leaves' or walls of the building which was originally created to allow any rainwater that penetrates through the outside wall to drain down the inside of the wall to below the damp proof course (DPC). Cavity wall insulation works by trapping air in and around the material injected into the cavity and can reduce the heat lost from your home by 35%.
Loft Insulation
Report
Loft insulation standards have changed substantially in recent years and although brand new homes normally benefit from 10"(270mm) thick insulation, many homeowners still have less than 6"(150mm) of loft insulation in their roof space. The Warmer Group can check the levels of loft insulation in your roof space and make recommendations on where heat loss can be saved.
Thermal Imaging
Report
Finding condensation in your home is a common problem for many homeowners across the UK. Whether it is a period property, new home or bungalow, the problems associated with condensation affect all of us. Many of us wake up to streaming windows, especially in the winter and this is usually one of the first signs that you have a problem.
Faq
Report
It is very hard to categorically say whether a property requires cavity wall insulation without a surveyor visiting the property and assessing it on site. Hence why we offer a free, no obligation survey. Generally, properties which were built within the past 12 years would not need cavity wall insulation as Government standards have been so stringent.
