Creative Explorers Day Nursery

At Creative Explorers we aim to encourage and support children to use their creative thoughts and put them into practice through everyday play experiences. We want our children to explore and discuss ideas and feelings with us in an environment that is safe and loving.

The nursery is spread across 2 sites: Baby & Toddler and a seperate Preschool for over 3's both equidistant from Hornsey Overground station and within a 5 minute walking distance from one another.Both are bright, promote free flowing play and have specialist learning areas run by qualified and experienced staff.

We're thrilled that Creative Explorers Day Nursery and Creative Explorers Preschool are 100% Millie's Mark Accredited. The Millie's Mark award certifies that in a nursery (or in our case, in all our nurseries) all practitioners are fully trained in paediatric first aid and are confident enough to deliver first aid if they need to.

Our original site, is located on Gisburn Road, and offers a specialist baby room for children under 18 months providing parents & carers with the peace of mind & reassurance that your baby will be cared whilst exploring the world around them, learning those all important first social interaction skills between themselves and their peers.

The nursery has an extensive outdoor garden with lots of room for exploring, building on imagination skills as well and uncovering many hidden gems for the children. At Preschool, our aim is to create an environment where the children are enjoying themselves through guided teaching and learning.

We aim to get the children 'schoolready' & have a built up a strong relationship with many local school's meaning we are able to support the transition for our pre-schoolers when the time comes for them to graduate from Preschool and move on to school with a smooth and effortless transition.

Technology can play a role in supporting early communication, language and literacy. It can offer new learning opportunities, through ebooks, apps, and even video calling. Technology should never be used as a replacement for adult interaction, but rather as a tool for interaction and learning.

Studies have shown that technology can be an important route in to reading for certain groups of children, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds and boys.At Creative Explorers we aim to use a variety of mediums to showcase to children the importance of technology and how it can be used to help us in everyday life.
